2009 NORTH WEST KENT LEAGUE
DIVISION ONE WINNERS
Blackheath and Greenwich B.C. were promoted to division one having won division three in 2007 then division two in 2008. Having played consistantly well throughout the season it finally came down to the final match of the season. One point divided B&G and Sidcup B.C. before the final matches began and with both clubs winning 6-4 that is how it remained.

1989 Gary Smith and Andy Thomson win the Kent Pairs, the first of many trophies that they have both won. Gary is now Chief Executive of World Bowls based in Scotland and Andy is a professional indoor bowler but remains a member of B&G.
The B&G Junior policy received an uplift when 17 years old James King reached the 2008 L&SCBA Lonsdale Shield Final. Watched by Graham Booth, proud dad Jeff(2nd Left) and Paul Field. James was loudly applauded for some fine bowling but on this occasion came second to a worthy winner.
