North West Kent League
Each new season at B&G has brought some success of one kind or another but somehow this season promised to be different. B&G first joined the North West Kent League about ten years ago and ever since has risen up the promotion ladder from the eighth division and under the helm of Bob Payne won promotion from division three and two in succession. This year, in their first year in division one it was down to the final game and B&G won the title. Congratulations to Bob and the NWK lads.
Division One LX League
Once again it was down to the final match but it finally proved to be a proud day for delegate Ron Smith who lifted the trophy which was last won twenty years ago.
Congratulations to Ron and all the LX lads.
KCBA Cox Memorial Cup
Many clubs enter competitions such as the Cox Cup and never expect to go further than two or three rounds in their division. B&G were so strong in numbers they fielded both teams in the division one final and the winners eventually went on to win the trophy for the seventh time.
Congratulations to all the Cox Cup Lads.
