AN INTRODUCTION TO BOWLING AT BLACKHEATH & GREENWICH BOWLING CLUB

We are a very sociable and friendly bunch at B&G BC but we appreciate that if you are new to the sport, there will inevitably be things you want to know or may be apprehensive about.

Such apprehension is perfectly normal - often new bowlers fear that they are not good enough or that they may let the team down.

​

We have all been new bowlers at some stage and remember what it was like when we first started and how grateful we were to members who helped and encouraged us.

The purpose of this section is to provide you with some information about the club; how to start playing, and what bowling activities are open to you.

​

We think that our club has a lot to offer,  and after playing bowls and socialising with other club members, we are sure you’ll feel the same way.
